  1. I have been waiting for the past hour to see if the launcher patching would continue on, but it's stuck, and continues to be stuck. I had this happen earlier on in the download, and i waited 10 minutes, and it moved on.
  2. Feb 26, 2019 - When the patch download reads 100%, it distributes all downloaded files where they need to go. If your patcher has been stuck at 100% for a.

Feb 10, 2016 - SWTOR servers will be going down on Feb 11 5am to 7 am PST from for. I've been stuck downloading at 92.12% for 13 hrs now(no error stated. I have put into stacks exceeding 99 will not be set to 99 amount again? Now, when I open the launcher, the game says it's 100% completed, but when I actually try and get into the game, a box appears at the top of the screen telling me that my download is at 99.99% and I won't be able to play on anything but a starter world until the download completes.

Stuck in 'Quick Play Mode' at 99.98%

so, I was extremely excited when the Launcher stated my download had finished, erupting with a pleasant symphonic indicating it's completion, and displaying the words 'your game is now fully installed..' yadda yadda

I re-entered the world of Hutta, just by a shuttle at the spaceport, ready to begin my larger journey. ALAS! action'ing the shuttle's door to travel to the Fleet and get off this Hutt-ruled Hell-hole, this Hutt-Hole, only resulted in a stern slap across my helmet's faceplate that stated 'You must complete the full download in order to leave your starting planet,' or something along the lines of this. And, to my utter disgust, in the top right corner of my screen was the ominous download status box, still looming, taunting me with it's '99.98%' and it's smug, slime-shrouded, grin shining ever-so menacingly right at me.

TL;DR launcher says my download is complete, cinematics and everything play upon start, yet in-game it states I am in 'quick play' mode and the download is at 99.98%.

How do I fix this? I need to get to Dromund Kaas to trade a female carcass for a bounty and partake in The Great Hunt!

So, I've reached the end of my 'quests' and stuff on the planet, but because the game isn't 'fully downloaded' it's not letting me leave. It's been stuck at 99.95% for downloading for about two or three weeks now, and it's kind of pissing me off because I would like to move on in my gameplay.

How can I make the game download the rest of the update?

A lot of people have been having errors related to the downloads since the lastest expansion. I kept getting 'unable to retrieve patch data (311)', and several guildies have had the same problem you did.

Apparently some people have been having problems with their hosts. Instructions for changing this have been posted on the SWTOR forums:

But basically, the instructions are:

Press Windows Key+R to open a Run Line.

To access the hosts file in Windows 7 you can use the following command in the Run Line to open notepad and the file.

Swtor Download Stuck At 99

Swtor Download Stuck At 99.85

notepad c:windowssystem32driversetchosts

and

add

Swtor Download Stuck At 99%

209.84.0.254 cdn-patch.swtor.com

Alternately

  1. Right click Notepad
  2. Run it as Administrator
  3. Click File, then Open
  4. Type 'c:windowssystem32driversetchosts' and press Open
  5. Add '209.84.0.254 cdn-patch.swtor.com' on a new line
  6. Save the file.

This fix worked for me, and several of my SWTOR guildmates.
